November 2006

I’m am 16 hours away in Billings, Montana and I’m checking the blog. Many of you guys are at home and you don’t check the blog. Now I haven’t checked the blog in at least 2 weeks but I am making it a promise to check the blog at least 2 times a week and make an comment or a post once a week. Now I don’t think that it that hard to make at least a little promise to yourself. Do you?
Now I would like to end in a positive note by saying happy Thanksgiving. If you want to, you can leave a comment about what you are thankful for. I’m thankful for the chance to get together with my family and for the turkey who gave its life so I could eat it.

Hey everyone. I was just letting you know that if we have enough people we will enter for a soccer tournament for a fund raiser for Toro Magic. Toro is sponsoring the tournament. If we have enough people then we will enter. It is a holiday tourny. These are the dates: December 26, 27, and 28. If you have conflictions then let me or John know.
Thanks,
MiA

After the first weekend of ODP they hadn’t really covered shooting but they worked on moves and moving off the ball. But on the second weekend we worked on shooting.
Mike Dicky the assitant coach US Womens National didn’t tell us to shoot far post but when a couple of our players did, he was really happy! He said that a main key when you shoot is to shoot far post! He was really glad to see that we had already been working on that.
So I want to thank John for having us work on that at practice even though we might not have liked it.
